Silver Ions Incorporation into Nanofibers for Enhanced hMSC Viability

چکیده

Antimicrobial properties of silver have been known for a long time, but there is also cytotoxicity high concentrations silver. Therefore, it important to select the concentration and shape depending on goals. The ideal wound dressing should ensure that remains optimally moist, protected from infections, has no toxic compounds, stimulates regeneration. In present work, we obtained series polycaprolactone-based nanomaterials fabricated by electrospinning incorporated with ions (up 0.6 at.%). By adjusting magnetron current (0.3 A) implanter voltage (5 kV), deposition TiO2 Ag+ implantation into PCL/PEO nanofibers was optimized achieve without damaging nanofibrous structure biodegradable nanofibers. results allow us predict significant protection developed material not only mechanical influence thanks antimicrobial effect due ions, which chronic wounds injuries large area damage can activate host cells proliferation.
